New Releases (Week of 3/25/14)
Side A/Video Games
Previously available only on PC and XBOX 360, Fez comes to the PlayStation brand this week. Therefore PlayStation loyalists will have their first chance to play this classic platformer released in 2012. The game was developed by Phil Fish whom some may remember from Indie Game: The Movie (worth the watch if you haven't seen it yet). Available as a digital cross buy on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
This week we get another Tupac release. I'm of course referring to the phenomenon wherein artists whom have merged with the infinite continue to release new albums. The latest Tupac release is from Johnny Cash. Recorded in the early 80's and then shelved, it was recently found in Cash's personal belongings by his son and for the first time ever sees a full album release. Being a fan of Cash, I'm happy with new content especially with it being from that time period (the way country music ought to be).
It's been available for free to stream on SoundCloud and I've had a chance to listen through the full release. Good stuff and featuring some talented 'helpers' including Waylon Jennings and June Carter Cash.
